Irgendwie kriegt man so langsam das Gefühl, dass sich die Welt da draußen dreht ohne uns.
The annual spring Sun ‘n Fun Aerospace Expo has for years served as the kickoff event for the resumption of the recreational flying season, seaplanes included, but like most public events Sun ‘n Fun did not take place in 2020 because of the global pandemic. That was then;
This is now: Sun ‘n Fun 2021 will happen, with proper COVID protocols. The event is set for Tuesday, April 13 through Sunday, April 18.
Organizers say Sun n Fun “continues to follow all CDC, State of Florida and City of Lakeland COVID-19 requirements and guidelines and will be required to follow any future mandates set forth to protect those visiting our site.” Masks will be encouraged in outdoor areas and required in all areas where social distancing is not achievable, including when entering exhibit halls. Sun ‘n Fun is encouraging everyone to wear masks once inside exhibit halls.
Seaplanes and seaplane pilots attending Sun ‘n Fun will be gathering in the Seabirds tent area, which is located east side of the Sun n Fun aircraft parking area (near the the NOAA building) at the intersection of Echo and Echo 1 taxiways. To save a hike east take the Sun n Fun tram to the Seabird tent stop…
Yeah, I would love to follow this advice. Like some 100 other pilots from Germany…
Man könnte heulen. Wenn es etwas helfen würde.
